Not everyone needs to be concerned with multi-channel attribution. If it makes up a very small part of your business, it might not be worth it. However, if you want to get a better understanding of the value of your traffic channels and the transactions/revenue they bring in, you might want to give it a go.
ga4
GA4 is used to analyze and optimize website & app performance.
GA4, which stands for Google Analytics 4, is the latest version of Google’s web analytics platform. It was introduced as a replacement for the previous version, Universal Analytics.
GA4 focuses on event-based tracking, which allows you to track user interactions on your website or app more comprehensively. Events can include page views, clicks, video views, and other user actions.
It is designed with enhanced user privacy in mind. It provides more robust data control features to help businesses comply with data protection regulations like GDPR and CCPA.
It’s important to note that while GA4 offers many advantages, it will require some adjustments and learning for those familiar with the older Universal Analytics. Existing Universal Analytics properties are still supported at the time of my last update in September 2021.
